Hemoperfusion therapy removes poisons and excessive drugs. It has been applied in acute poisoning, such as drug overdose, chemical exposure and high-dose regional chemotherapy. It has demonstrated removal efficiency of hydrophobic substances that are easily bound with plasma proteins.

Indications for use Acute poisoning:

  • acute poisoning with drugs and toxic substances
  • poisoning in patients with liver and kidney disease, accompanied by a violation of detoxification and excretory function
  • poisoning with unknown substances and/or in unknown quantities
  • acute and chronic poisoning in industrial conditions (ineffective elimination and/or accumulation of toxic substances in the bloodstream
